Mark Olkowski, LMFT

Mark received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and his Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary San Diego. He is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and enjoys working with individuals and couples who are stuck in marriage, family, and relationship conflict, suffering from relational wounds, and struggling with depression and anxiety. He believes counseling is a place to share burdens, find hope, and seek wholeness in the most trying circumstances and when feeling weighted down by everyday life. Mark hopes that counseling can be a deeply felt reminder that life does not have to be walked alone, especially in the midst of suffering. He endeavors to join others as they persevere through fear, loneliness, anger, guilt, and heartache. Lastly, he believes that the path to wholeness centers on building deeper connections with God and others, and that it does not end in pain. Mark loves spending time with his wife and daughter. They worship together at Citizens Church, in Plano.
